From Frans' sales thread: "Sorry, both are now sold. Maybe I will make some more in the future... Still have 8 PCB's left."
Might be better to wait and have this conversation when or if he decides to make some more for sale?
Edit: sorry, see Ian already replied about availability.

Mine arrived today along with a module for my HE-560 (cheers Frans). Only had a brief listen but initial impressions are favourable Are you going to be using yours with the HE-400i tunke?

Not been able to put in much listening the last couple of days so no real impressions to share about the HE-560 filter. Honeymoon period etc.
Dimensions of the Kameleon enclosure are a bit bigger than I expected; roughly the same length as my Polaris but just a touch wider. Not a bad thing really as using some supple short RCA cables to connect the two means I can stack them to reduce the overall footprint. The Polaris does overhang very slightly on either side (0.5cm or so) but the rubber feet make enough contact to keep things stable. May add a couple of sticky pads just to be safe but of course that will likely make filter swapping trickier.

Any chance on a filter for the akg k7xx special edition "red" from mass drop? Edit Sorry, this was/is my first visit here and after posting saw it on the list. How would I go about ordering a module? Any suggestions? I'm a newbie, aspiring audiophile using akg k7xx w/raccoon sg300 tube and/dac hybrid from mass drop. www.massdrop.com/buy/racoon-sg300-dac-tube-ampI am close to reaching the break in point most people suggest (40+ hours of white/pink noise/misc DVD music. I plan on listening to 24 but/96 music, and PC fps gaming. I want the best sound possible with my current setup.

welcome aaron81182. From the manufacturer/seller it is not clear whether or not the DAC output is always available. It looks like the sg300 has a volume controled output (so you can use it as a pre-amp) and also a line-input. This would suggest that the input for amplifier mode is also using the volume control. In this case it looks like you cannot attach anything between the DAC section output and amp section input externally. This rules out the usage of a Kameleon in that case. The K7xx is liked by many as it is. When you feel it sounds great as it is then using a Kameleon may alter the sound into something that you may like less. That is unless you feel that the K7xx somewhat lacks subbass rumble, is a tad too 'warm' sounding and the treble has some slight 'sharpness' to it. A ready made Kameleon can be ordered from Garage 1217: garage1217.com/garage1217_diy_tube_headphone_amplifiers_019.htmBut is much 3x more expensive than the sg300 alone.

Thanks to Frans patient coaching I was able to not only assemble the Kameleon In-Line Filter, but also learn how to test the filters for correct filtering curve. I will be assembling additional unit for my friend, so I thought I might assemble few of them in one go and maybe recover some costs. If there's a demand I've got Frans blessing to sell the additional units on this forum. I reserved last 4 boards. The estimated price for finished unit is 199 EURO. It will include acrylic enclosure (inspired by G1217 style), 24V Mean Well PSU (Euro version) and one assembled filter board for chosen headphones. Price excludes shipping and paypal fees. Shipped from EU. I still need to tweak the design for the acrylic plates, so the list will be open up until then. Probably for a few weeks. PM if interested. Here are photos of the assembled prototype. Proportions, details and engraving might change, I will be posting updates here.

They look interesting but are difficult to source where I live. Noticed some talk about it on SBAF and could have a look to see if Kameleon can do something for it. Do you own one ? The sharp 'issue' at 5kHz possibly can't be corrected by the Kameleon. Would have to look into it. The massive ringing at 5kHz can't be improved, only the spike can be lowered which may well be worthwhile. From what I can see I would add a little subbass (OW type of correction) would try to remove the 5kHz peak and improve on clarity perhaps. When you feel those are the points that need improvement then I could look into this.

I do own a pair. They have some flaws, but I think they're pretty impressive given their price point. What you describe sounds like what's needed. By improving clarity do you mean increasing treble a bit? I like them, but high end sounds a little hidden compared to other Kameleon corrected headphones.
Thanks for creating such a great product!

Yes, A bit more body in the lows and a bit more clarity (in the top end) the 5kHz peak can be addressed as well.
Have the design of the filter almost finished.
