I made a friend while I was over in Japan and he's just sent me a letter in pigeon English saying that he's found a G2 for sale so he's bought me one and himself. It's probably take a month to get here, but I had a look around for them on the internet here and it looks like they're not really around.
Basically like the Koss KSC75 I think. They clip on the same way. I have the OK2 earbuds from Yuin which are extremely good for open buds but can't see these G2's around in the UK.
He knows I like the Yuin buds so he bought me a pressy.
Is there a UK supplier of Yuin? (or European?)

The G2 is the (much) cheaper version of the G1 where the G1 is supposed to be better sounding one.
The A versions (G1A and G2A) are newer and improved versions (highs and lows are reported to be better) reminiscent of the HD650 though not as extended and overall 'smoother' sounding as KSC75.
Perhaps flea-bay..
They appear to be discontinued though

That's a shame. I like Yuin buds quite a lot. I wonder whether they will produce anything else in place of the G1 and G2?
The OK2 has a really healthy sound for a little open earbud. It also has a curious attachment that screws on to the buds in order to make them closed, but I never used it that way. I stuck with the ie8's which I continue to like a lot.
Oh well. They'll be interesting to listen to I guess.

Not too shabby looking either!
Doesn't look like the company sell to the public though does it?

The G1A was tested on GE March 2013 and it would be pointless to measure headphones that are obsolete ?
Indeed the plots look promising with only slight ringing in the 5kHz area

Indeed the plots look promising with only slight ringing in the 5kHz area Oh, so could have a sharp sounding top although they roll off quite rapidly on the graph? I'll compare them to the KCS75's. Probably have a lot in common!! I think the Koss graph resembles the G2 one tbh.

The ringing is very short lived and the FR does not peak in that area so the slight (short) ringing might not be audible at all. I suspect they are quite similar, perhaps the Yuin a bit more 'sweet' Koss KSC 75: ringing is somewhat worse than on the Yuin Yuin G2:
