They’re great to see years later when you notice how everyone has changed ..... I know how that feels about everyone changing. A student brought in a yearbook last week from the early 90's. It had my picture or course, but in the student section it had a picture...... of his mother in my class!

I’ve had that as well. I had one kid who brought in a photo of her Mother with me at a show I was playing in!!!
Also had someone post a report that I wrote on Facebook.
Funny old world.
Films really bring it all back because they are moving, rather than still shots. That’s why I love it so much.

Thanks Derek, but they are still pretty rough affairs. Sometimes, ropey footage gets in just because I like it, or wobbly shots etc. If Helena had her way, the films would end up with everything and what that film consists of is a fraction of what I actually took.
Doing a fireworks evening next. In Crockham Hill, the locals all come out with torches and there’s a procession in the dark, down the road and back into a farm, where a massive bonfire is lit and a display is set off.
There’s something a bit pagan about it, so this year, I’m going to try to film it, even though it’ll be difficult in the dark!!
