An interesting video of EVGA CEO's audio system.
From the description "tube amps (like the United 211), Audio Note Gaku-on hardware, Western Electric Horn 15As and WE555 drivers".
Some really interesting an unique gear, thought some of you guys might like it. (hope a thread for just a video is not a problem)

If only sound engineers took as much care!!
Interesting that the frequency response is around 80 to 10kHz and the speaker reckons it’s the best system he’s heard. So, frequency response isn’t the only factor ... especially given that he says orchestral sounds best on it which has a very wide range of both dynamics and frequencies.
Imagine that in your front room....

Been there, had that in my room - with 28 foot bass horns. Putting PA speaker tech in your front room is great for about 30 seconds of maximum impact. Horn speakers in the mid-field are not my chosen cup of audio playback poison. Had to work in a studio that used that WE driver setup. Even 20 feet away it was not pleasant. Or accurate. I have friends (mostly deaf or dead now) that loved that rip-your-face-off dynamics of monster horn systems fed by the oxymoron dynamics of vinyl. You're right Rabbit, frequency response isn’t the only factor - when it's stupid loud, who cares. Compression driver throat distortion increases the discomfort and hearing damage. For me, vintage horn designs are not nearly as musical or timeless as vintage tubes. If this is the best speaker system that Han has heard, needs to get out more.

I was kinda skeptical about the sound quality. I understand the significance of some of these parts, but still, we came a long way since then, certainly there's much better stuff around.
Some tubes are amazing in modern systems, other components i imagine not so much. But still, was interesting to see the setup.
