Unfortunately, the original pads on my TH900 have started to fall apart so I bought a cheap replacement set for them. My expectations were quite low and I wasn’t sure whether to continue with the old pads until they literally fell apart totally because I do like the TH900 a lot. Mine is still pristine and sounds fantastic so I was a bit concerned. The pads arrived and they fitted on dead easy. They’re more plush than the originals or mine have just compressed into rubber band thinckness by comparison. So they hold the drivers a bit further back. I had to extend the head and a little more for them but they are SO comfortable but more importantly for me, the sound ..... I think the sound has improved on the original. Obviously the drivers don’t change how they work, but that bit of distance has improved the depth of sound that I’m getting. It’s not fatter sounding. (The TH900 is fat enough) The sound just seems more ‘rounded’ and slightly more cohesive. Whereas on the old pads, I always felt that the bass and treble were very distinct and almost separated from each other, these pads seem to join the three areas together better. (Lows, mids treble) So really nicely built pads. Tougher than the originals. More plush. Seems better in sound. (Or slightly different) Sheep skin. Great value at £25 for the pair. No mounting rings are supplied. I think I might get a pair for my Denon D2000. www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07X1L287G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Hi Simon. I think they’ve improved my Denon D2000. Not sure exactly how but they seem to have better depth resolving I think. Having said that, the pads are thicker than my Denon ones were so they give a bigger chamber for my ears with better sealing.
Thise pads were starting to flake as well, so both my Th900 and the D2000 have been given a new lease of life.
