Ian, you must be joking!!! . It was teeming down when we set off, then low cloud got added into the mix, regular traffic jams throughout Cornwall, then showers or bucket loads all the way home, it never stopped. We had a neighbour looking after our 3 house cats so we left the heating on as normal (wifey did not want them to be cold ) so thankfully we walked into a warm house at 8.15 tonight. It's Crete in June for the next holiday so we are expecting more sun and less rain . Dave.

Oh!!! So the rain must have been creeping northwards all day then. It got really bad here but at least the house has warmed up.
This weather is really weird, but Cornwall for me has always been a killer for rain. Last Summer down there was awful really so that's why we've decided to go abroad for a break this year.
