That's a good way to do it
I have mine filed under Artists and then albums. So Annie Lennox would be before Art Tatum for instance. They go into alphabetical anyway. Rather than use A,B,C etc.
If you scan the card, then you can search via album, artist, genre, up u til a certain number of files, which I forget how many it is!!
Glad you like it, Simon. I think it's an amazing value for money player.
I use the d600, k550, hd595 from it direct. All really good. The Senn is a good match. The player is just a little warm so the Senn goes well. D600 is like a blunderbuss!!

Well, just putting a folder in named after the artists works for me. Their albums then go together in them. The artists are then listed in alphabetical order automatically.
It's easy to change though if you don't like it. You can just shift the filing system around on the card.
The other searches work fine in any case, but I can see a logic in having a folder named after each letter of the alphabet. It's whatever you prefer really I guess.
I think it would be a pain to stick just albums out in the open without an indication of the artist. You'd forget who did what and would have to randomly browse, or use the player's system then in any case.
I have six cards in a holder. Each card, except one is in a genre. So I have a rock card, jazz card, orchestral card and folk card. I also have a general card. Within each card, I have folders named after the artists.
Finding music isn't too bad on it though tbh.
