Been listening to these and they really are not bad at all.
They are a portable alternative to the px100/Portapro although quite expensive at £70 I think.
Build is ok. Not brilliant. Very thin wire to left cup with plastic headband and cups. Maybe in time, the build could let you down. I don't like the plug. It is a bit too substantial for the thin, meagre wire and isn't at right angles so it justs out of your dap by an inch which I think is just daft.
Pads are memory foam and sit on your ears. They are covered with. 'Leatherette' and felt. In fact they are extremely comfortable.
The best part is the sound. Memory foam to me always suggest fat bloated bass. Not so with these. They are really nice balanced. Good slam with a bass that doesn't overwhelm at all and a smooth treble. It's a tad curtailed and not quite as open as some would like but is better than the px100 II treble imo. I find the px100 too dull in the top. This is better.
I can wear these all day, no problem. Fatigue free and a really pleasant balance. I just wonder about the price being a fraction higher than many might be prepared to pay though. Once you go over about £50, your expectations as far as build go might be raised. To me, these are built like a £50 headphone but they sound way better.
In fact these are so nice, I think I might get a pair. Good Christmas present if you get in quick?
