Just thought I'd share a bit from my farm on the Canadian border. No fancy cameras, just my smartphone with some filters added for fun. This is the road leading north to the farm. It tends to flood every spring.

A chilly November morning out on the pasture. This is my favourite. Moody as hell too. It's amazing what can be achieved with a decent source image and clever use of apps & it is, in my opinion, real photography. Love this one.

I just realized I mis-titled this one. It was actually evening, not morning. I was coming in from the last post on the last day of deer season. There was a heavy, frosty haze in the air, and I was cold and had enough. The Sun was hovering just over the trees, just barely peeking through the suspended ice. All I did was add a little HDR filter to bring it out more in the pic.

The family took a little day trip down the road to explore one of our many rivers. Here's a little taste of Minnesota rocks and trees and water.

The commute to town can be adventurous at times.
