Here is a link to Medici.tv
The concert I'm listening to again is by........
Edgar Moreau,
the French rising star in the cello world,
on medici.tv in the company of his chamber music partner, Pierre-Yves Hodique.
For his first recital at the Louvre auditorium (Paris, France),
he is the guest of the composer Jean-Frédéric Neuburger
and will perform his piece Souffle sur les cendres
as well as classic works for the cello repertoire by Robert Schumann, Gabriel Fauré, and Alfred Schnittke.
I enjoyed this concert which is available to listen to free for a short time
it was broadcast live on Jan 9th 2014 and is still available free on delayed streaming.
Use the link
www.medici.tv to go to Medici TV
it will probably open in an excerpt from a Herbie Hancock concert 2011
Gustavo Dudamel meets the jazz superstar Herbie Hancock
for an unforgettable concert dedicated to Gershwin,
at the crossroads between jazz and classical musics.
Come out of full screen (after listening to the excerpt of course)
and click on
"LIVE 19"
then
"Still available on delayed streaming"
now you have a menu of events go down the list to Edgar Moreau,
click on this listing for the concert.
When you open the link in medici.tv you will have to register....no cost or strings,
if you don't register you will only be able to hear a short excerpt of the concert.
As soon as you register and log in you will have the whole concert to enjoy.
Also you will have access to numerous concerts broadcast live and in delayed streaming,
the content is very good the audio quality equally so.
If you wish to pay....which is of course what medici.tv is about then you will have access to a large library
of concerts so far I have resisted the temptation and still enjoyed many great concerts.
Have a listen nothing to lose.
