To pinch a quote from Ian "Only at this price for DIYAH'ers ......Not single figure posters!!"
Note: I was holding these for another member who'd expressed an interest back in Jan. Things have since gone quiet so reluctantly re-listing.
AKG K712 Pro - £122 incl. UK Royal Mail Special Delivery *Now sold to jkb89*
Bought new in Oct 2015. They are grey imports though so best to assume that AKG's European warranty doesn't apply.
Wonderful headphones and the only reason for sale is that I've bought too many pairs lately and need to move some on to help balance the books. This pair has seen nowhere near the use it deserves (approx. 30 hrs from new) so better going to someone who will appreciate them.
As you'd expect they are in excellent cosmetic condition & full working order. Complete with two cables (1 coiled / 1 straight), a velvet effect storage bag (unused) and a 3.5-6.35mm jack adapter.
I have the box too but the corners are slightly dog eared (nothing major) from when it was originally shipped to me.
International shipping is also an option if you cover any additional shipping costs.

Mark, stop it just give me all your stuff now! Very tempted by these .... pics to the usual address please...! C'mon Joe. You're here of your own free will and you know it Just be glad the more expensive ones I'm shifting are being sold elsewhere. Irrespective of price the K712 would still be my pick though and if my experience with other AKGs (K612 Pro & K7XX) is anything to go by it should pair very nicely with the Lyr, if you still have it. Leave it with me and I'll get sort out some pics for you. Rest assured condition is excellent though. K712 is a good 'un. You'll regret it Mark!! You may well be right Ian! Wouldn't be the first time I've done that with a headphone and probably won't be the last....but if you keep on recommending headphones to me then I've got to ruthless. DT990 pro...check; HD650...check; T50RP?...incoming. Whoops I did it again

I do still have the Lyr - was thinking of downsizing as desk space is at a premium now (reshuffle of the house means the 'office' is a lot more crowded...), but I hear the Lyr + K712 do pair very nicely Will let you know when I get pics if that's OK? Cheers!

That's not a problem Joe. I've been using a Vali 2 (its tiny!) with the K712 and that's not a bad pairing. Might be worth a look if downsizing and the adjustable gain means it's a bit more receptive to easier to drive headphones. Also uses a lot of the same tubes as the Lyr so you wouldn't need to start from scratch. Have uploaded some pics here (please excuse unavoidable 'fluff' on pads...that's velours for you!)
