May have done this already. Plugged in my HD600’s but forgot to turn off the HD800 filter. I didn’t realize for half an hour or so. I liked the sound. Then saw the filter was on and turned it off. Liked it better on. Decided to give the HD600 filter a try, so it’s on its way from Jeremy. I like how the sub-bass is brought up a little. I’m guessing there are similarities between the two filters.

Yes, there are similarities in the filter where it concerns the lows.
The HD600 even has relatively more sub-bass boost as it drops off a bit earlier.

That sounds like it would be perfect for the HD600’s Frans. I always felt it could use a boost. But I guess the designers were looking for a flat frequency response. The 800 filter really made Paul’s bass sound full and present on Abbey Road. Filter should arrive Saturday. I’ll post some impressions after I’ve had a bit to listen.

I would like to have a HD600 Filter. Would somebody sell me one? On the other hand I could order the parts but I have to order a lot more than I need. So does anyone like to build one too? Maybe we can share the parts? Its not really about the money, more about having that stuff and not needing it.

Of course one can also buy bare boards and turn it into a device. Maybe someone is willing to build you one. Alas I don't have time to make them myself. |

If you do I could build you one. You would have to buy ALL the components from Frans who could then post them to on me (he has my details) & when completed I could post the finished module on to you.
