This is a live double album released today.
Having a listen now and it's ..... ok. The band plays well in a live situation. Sometimes with her lyrics, I find myself cringing a bit. The first time I nearly fell of my sofa was when she started crooning about a washing machine!!
I sometimes feel the same way about Chinese or Japanese pop/rock where the lyrics are kind of corny. I sometimes get the same feeling from her.
Her voice is lower than it used to be and is sometimes on the verge of croaking. She has a slight edge in her voice now which is quite pleasant. I think the pitch of many of the songs has been lowered for her which for me, makes them a little more downbeat and safe.
It's a nice enough album, but not like her early releases TBH. It seems slightly understated as well with less urgency.

I bought the double CD - have barely played it. Need to pay it some attention. I have only listened on 'phones so far (my usual PM-3/DacMagic XS combination) and it sounded good. No sign of it in any hi-res format? And no video release planned, although the gigs were filmed, which is a shame. Would fork out for the Bluray if there was one.
