Bugger!!! I just posted this and they quickly put it back to £900. I think one person bought one and they noticed!!
Did anyone here manage it?

I had a look out of curiosity, because I liked the look of Mick's pair a while back. It said three left, clicked buy and it seemed to go wrong, thought that was what Ian was talking about but went back and tried again, success! So there should be two more pairs available Syd

Great. You were the one Syd. As soon as you got it, they put the price back to £900.
You got a bargain. Great headphone. Well done!!!

If you want one go QUICK!!!! Someone is watching this thread!!!!!!
I've never seen it this low.

Syd, if you don't like it, you could sell it for £600 second hand!! I really like mine a lot.

I'd have ditched the Denon pre-order and bought a pair myself at that price!!!
Was it Amazon themselves selling them as I'm skeptical of most 3rd party listings on Amazon these days. Too many high end headphones being sold for ridiculously low prices by compromised accounts.
The cups on the TH900 are beautiful btw....(forum needs a lovey type smiley)

I was thinking of you Mark. It's now gone up further to over £1000. Syd has a bargain.

I'd been keeping an eye on the listing since you mentioned it Ian in the hope there was a repeat. But the price is heading in the wrong direction!
I take it the seller was Planet Gizmo? Not used them myself but they've been going for some time so they're not a here today, gone tomorrow outfit. The dodgy ones that seem to plague Amazon tend to take over accounts of infrequent sellers or set up new ones and their listings ask you to e-mail them prior to purchase (presumably to get you to complete purchase outwith Amazon).
Hopefully the price reduction is because they are clearing old stock (they now sell the MK2 on their website) rather than a misprice and that they'll fulfil Syd's order. If so he has bagged himself a hell of a bargain!!
Even if they're not his cuppa he will easy recoup what he paid or more than likely make a tidy sum on top.

Keep an eye, Mark. It went up just after Syd bought one and then took a dive again. I was going to buy it for you and when I went back, it had gone back to £900. Now it's further up.
As you say, it could be sold for double what he paid!!

Will do It could be sold for double. Which is what is making me wonder if it's a mis-price and they'll cancel the orders in the morning. At least if they ship within 24hrs as stated Syd should soon know one way or the other. I'll cross my fingers for him!!

I wondered whether he'd get a cancellation, but he's already received confirmation of the order, so here's hoping!!

This pricing is mad. I keep seeing this with the HD600. Ridiculous. Maybe since we are being watched, we should should PM. Sorry, the last week has me somewhat paranoid.

Usually it's Amazon's automated pricing system that makes the prices yo-yo but this is a marketplace seller which is unusual. But perhaps they can add rules to their account that allows prices to change 'on the fly' too? This part of the forum is only visible to signed in members so not many will see it. Admittedly there will be a few that don't contribute but as you know the best deals are posted in the Super Top Secret Deals section. tbh I'm just disappointed that Ian didn't treat us both to a pair Ron. I really thought he cared
