does anyone on here use one of these devices? i have endless trouble where my pc is really slow to boot up. when this happens i notice a red cross over the speaker icon on taskbar and also the wifi icon next to it is missing too. have re-installed both drivers many times but problem persists. funny thing is, it seems to be only on the initial boot up on any given day. subsequent boot ups are really fast. any ideas? i keep thinking problem has gone, then it comes back

Sorry, slow boot up with Hiface driver installed? Have you try booting up after uninstalling Hiface driver? If it's still the same then it's a Windows problem and it's good to RESTORE a good Windows to your HDD or SSD. If your don't have a good restore point, sorry you are out of luck and have to start from fresh reinstalling a clean Windows and all the programmes you used to your PC HDD or SSD. Try not to install too many programmes, btw, as that will really slow down the bootup. Uninstall those programmes you no longer used.

this has been going on a while now and the available restore points are not before the problems started. Btw, there is no harm doing the restore to even after the problem start to see if that helps. You just have nothing to lose before the painful full monty Windows + programmes reinstall on Saturday.
