I will bundle a pair of new, not run-in, boxed T-40 MkII's, with brand new Beyerdynamic DT-770 pads (as recommended by Frans), a couple of slack hand-fulls of washed real sheep's wool (courtesy of Mike), some plasticene, some felt and one of Frans' PCB's to make a nice filter for them. Oh, I forgot to say, I had bought a headband and pad set for the Senheisser HD-25 to get the thin headband cushion pads as Frans recommends and I have already glued these into place on the rubber headband of the T-40's.
I had bought these with the intention of modding them, but life, and a change in listening habits have got in the way and they are just sitting in their box doing nothing.
I think £80 plus postage for the whole lot sounds fair.
Reply here or pm me.
Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff, Sorry for the numptie question but are these you offer the same as these: -
www.headfonia.com/the-fostex-orthodynamics-t50rp-and-t40rp-mk2/
If so, can I have first refusal please, if not, can you provide a link to exactly what they actually are? Always fancied listening to a pair of orthos Sorry again Jeff, I pulled the trigger while looking at the wrong target - not what I thought I was buying, so can I withdraw my interest. TIA, Dave

Nope, I got carried away with the idea of a pair of orthodynamics at a price I could afford but when I did my sums I didn't think it was the bargain I first thought. Sorry for messing anyone about . Dave.
