I bought one of these from Javier (who is offering a build service ongoing).
I am delighted with the amp and it's additional filters, all beautifully built and carefully assembled into a nice neat case.
So, a 'First Class' recommendation, grateful thanks to Javier and so nice to have a new-built amp work first time, I haven't always achieved that myself!
I'm still listening, with the different filters yet to be swopped around, so I'll post a brief impression with the filters I chose over on the Kameleon thread over the next few days.

Syd + 1 from me to the above - absolutely beautiful handiwork and brilliant listening experience so kudos to Frans as well. I'm getting 'carried away' by the regular 'thumbs up' being given to the HD681 cans so, having one with Mick's ali rings, I'd like to try them with the Kameleon. Javier will you please accept this as a request for a filter for the HD681 please? - no hurry, next time you get an order for one will you include another one for me please? TIA, Dave. |

Is the HD681 a stock or modified one ? and what do you want 'changed' to the sound IF it is already modified ?
I EQ'ed the HD681 completely flat and it becomes a boring and lifeless experience.
The extra bass and extra treble (even with filters) make it good but somewhat coloured sounding.

Thanks to all for your kind words, I'm delighted you liked them.
I'm a bit a upset with our national mail, it worked reasonably quick with Dave's parcel but they made a mess with Syd's and Tom's, according to their tracking site they haven't even been delivered yet!! bl**dy amazing.

I sent a card home for my daughter to receive when we all got back from Tenerife last year Javier, and it arrived two weeks after we got home. It took nearly a month!!
