Mmmm, it appears that TreeSize Free might actually do much of what I what I want. If I open up Win Exp and right click on the folder I'm interested in removing most non-music files (after installing TreeSize Free of course ) it lists all the sub folders in that folder in descending size order and my quick look indicates that around 0.1MB seems to be the point of interest. All files below that, despite what they may be titled, only seem to have 'cover.jpg's in them. My next size up is 0.8MB which seem to have at least one music track in there. All I need to do now is find a way of quickly deleting the many files with 0.1MB or less. The only way I can see at the moment is to identify and delete them one by one, manually, a bit of a ball acher but I'll keep looking. Dave.
