Amazing how authorities can be so neurotic about music.
Frank Zappa always comes to mind to me with the troubles that he caused in the USA. Now, what he did seems less offensive compared to some of the rappers' material.

Since I've started this thread, I was often thinking how much someone has to love music to take so much risks to hear it. Unbelievable.

I don't want to imagine that. It would very sad. Almost like a world without any hope. Burning books, artworks or forbidding music has a long tradition in totalitarianism of any kind. You don't have to look to the Taliban for that. There are also examples in the so called "civilised" Western civilisation. In constrast to that, I'm absolutely convinced that music can give hope, relief, regeneration and lust for life. Maybe this explains also why people take so much risks to hear music. It's part of our life. Music is a part of us. Even disabled people, who can't hear, are reacting to the rhythm of music if they are able to feel the vibrations (of course, this means mostly the bass). I think, it's not completely wrong to call me a kind of rare bird (maybe, I'll tell you more about that somewhen through PM). I can't express in words what music means to me. Music is certainly very important for me.

The video shows another Russian "trend". Maybe there are similar reasons for this "habit" as when risking the life for hearing music. It's a kind of freedom. And you also feel most vital when you've been close to death.
BTW, it's a very nice video with good music. I couldn't do something like that by myself (Jeez!).
