What is the difference between HD 650 Early 2013 Silver drivers Late 2014 White drivers That's a difference that doesn't exist as far as I'm aware. The only material difference that has occured in the HD 650's lifespan occured somewhere around 2007. They switched from black drivers to white. I've never heard the previous black version but many say it was responsible for the dreaded 'veil'. I have no idea how true that is. I hear no veil. |

I think 'silver' and 'white' descriptions might be the same thing. Senn went from 'black' to silvery white. New ones have a hologram on one driver. Differences are small and might be to do with changes to the pads.
Solderdude wrote an extensive article on the hd650 and he goes into this in detail.
