That's what a great deal of music does for me. It brings back a time or something that happened.
My earler memories include a release of a song called, 'Catch a Falling Star' and 'The Day that the Circus Left Town' by Eartha Kitt. Also Lonnie Donegan and Bill Haley.
That makes me feel old.
I've just downloaded it to my Ipad.
The introduction about his need for headphones is exactly the same as mine when I was a kid too. I also got to know the different sounds of tape, since I used a Sony reel to reel in the early days. I often preferred Ampex reels for their warmth. See, I was a Senn person, even in those days!!
