I thought we might exchange stories about our pets. My cats like to try to sit on my warm amps. I have devised several ways to try and keep them off. Most only work until the little devils figure out how to detach them. The only amp they stay away from is my BAT-VK 60. Too much heat. But they do curl up next to them.
My two mini Dachshunds like to listen to classical music. I swear they enjoy it, although I have no empirical research to prove it. Perhaps I can develop a fMRI method to measure brain activity. ;D
PS-We almost lost my favorite cat Sid this weekend. Thanks to the great vets we have he is home and is expected to live a nice long life.
Cheers, Ron

One black with some white cat (female) and one white with some black (male) The white with some black is a stray that couldn't get along in the few homes it had. The black one we had since she was young. They get along just fine.

A female 'Tuxedo' cat who used to be called Spot, but after an accident, is now called Spotless. She generally waits till I'm nearly finished typing a post and then she wanders over, jumps up, and starts to "edit" my post. She is 15 years old now, but still has a 'mad half hour' every now and then where she runs around the house at top speed for no apparent reason. She is much loved and cherished.

A lot of cat lovers here. I'll put some weight in the scale to tip the balance.
We have 2 perro's (Perro de Agua Espagnol in full). A smart black one, Dara and a dumb white (blond) one, Jessie. Very playful, lovely with small children. Jessie loves swimming and Dara loves hiking with me (she usually does double the distance that I do on a 12 to 14 hour walk).

I have a beautiful bob tailed calico with green eyes. Picked her up from a rescue when she was a kitten. Poor thing was so small and malnourished she could fit in the palm of your hand. Loves to lay on my back when I nap and will pretty much attack the wife on command. She is my baby We also have a very large boxer - close to 95lbs and solid muscle. Has been amazing around the kids. No matter how much they wrestle with him, ride him like he is a horse or worse, he has never barked, growled or ever showed a hint of aggression ever. Just loves it and enjoys their company. We have had him since a pup. I am really not a dog person but I could not have asked for a better one. 3 kids... I think they count. Enough said.

Former owner of 4 cats who had all ran away for sex drive. Lots of gecko in my house and don't know whether can be considered as partially wanted pets. They do a great job at keeping mosquitoes down that's why partially wanted. ;D

One black female cat going on 22 years old. Never had a sick day as she is not allowed outside unless with us. She got out once overnight and that was the end of her wayward adventures.
She loves riding in the car in my wife's lap with the window open and hangs her head out like a dog.

Was a rough few weeks. 13 days after I posted about my dog Grimm, he had some sort of a freak accident, seizure or something to that effect on June 9th. Left him paralyzed from the neck down and had to be put to sleep. Was terrible as the wife and kids had just left out of state to see family. A photo of the big oaf. Such a wonderful personality and member of the family. He is missed. Wife decided it was time to get a new pup to help with the grieving, make the house feel less empty and so forth. Wife's brother raises Shepherds for police, military and so on and decided to give us one of his prized dogs which is an amazing, generous gift. He has been wonderful and really makes everyone smile. His name is Riddick. He is almost 4 months old now. Scary smart, very calm and observant.
