I wonder how many of you remember the lovely Thomas Dolby from the 80's.
Well, he's still around and performing. He did give up actually and went to do a 'normal' job in the USA. He's back in the UK now and has a barge actually, out on the Norfolk coast. He seems to revolve around the sea (One of my Submarines is Missing) probably due to the fact that he lost a relative in the war at sea.
He produced a new album a year or two back. More introverted and not yer old joking Thomas stuff. Not sure it did that well since kids won't know who he is in any case.
He does play around live and did a tour to Japan which was recorded. He plays a lot of his old stuff on it. The recording itself is not always the best in quality since the engineers have got levels wrong on a couple of occasions and so distortion starts to appear.
Because of these problems, I'm not certain that it's available in the UK. If it is, it may be as an import and so way too expensive.
It's a bit of nostalgia and fun ....
Edit
I found it ..... yes, an import £49!!!!!!! However, there is a crap rip available there too I see. (The quality of the rip IS crap - I had a listen. I have no idea what has happened to the master for this!!!)
