I'm the previous owner of the O2 amp and just wanted to give you a heads up as I think you are in the US? The power supply (PSU) that comes with this amp iirc is NOT universal and is designed for use in countries that have 230v mains power. The US on the other hand I think uses a 120v system so to get the amp working you'd need to source a replacement US PSU (approx. $20 shipped) so you'd need to factor the cost of that in too. Noted. Thank you, I'm just waiting on a response. No worries! If you can't work something out with Joe then the trading section of the Head-Fi forum might be worth a look. Quite a lot of US members there. Or if you are considering buying new then I can recommend JDS Labs. US based and very reliable - they also sell PSUs separately should you buy Joe's O2. Massdrop also do drops on the O2 periodically which might be another option if you aren't in a hurry. Edit: just noticed Joe's reply. Not trying to do him out of a sale just trying to be helpful with other options (sorry Joe!!)

Well.... the dollar is getting stronger against the pound, so maybe the USA guys could do quite well with Brit gear!! Other way around is pants.

Good point - last time I visited Head-Fi the EU guys seemed to be getting quite excited about the prices on Amazon UK, so at least until we see the cost of our luxury goods start to rise (inevitable?) it's probably quite an attractive proposition!

(P.S - No worries Mark, it may not work out much more expensive to buy the new one, no idea how much they are - that price was just converting what I asked for + shipping to USD) EDIT: Just looked, $140 with shipping and the correct PSU new, FYI Aaron :-)

If you go directly through Head'n'Hifi (as I did) they drive the product to Germany and ship it from there.

oldson Good - they've not been used since I bought Mark's K712's. The 990s came from Ian @rabbit originally I think, via Frans, so they were in very good hands before me. I've done nothing to them (other than use them sat at the computer).

I bought them new.
'U' shaped sound Simon with strong treble. Fun sound and comfortable. I used them at low to moderate volumes where the bass kicking was useful and the perceived extra clarity in the top.Mids are slightly back.
They hadn't been used much when I sold them. Were bought for students to trial different headphone sound types.
Good headphone. New pads are cheap too.
