Nope... you need 48V DC (max 1A) power supply for Ember. I wish Jeremy would hurry up with his linear .... sigh ....

Aye Jeff, I guess things will have moved on a bit in 30 years. By the way, I'm sorry my reply has taken so long but I've only just got here since our internet went down yesterday morning. Another 'benefit' of rural living. Happy Christmas!
Gordon.

A quick update for the DIYAH crowd! Just finishing up the 6sn7 adapter for Ember. Having Frans put a second set of eyes on it as accidents happen even with something so simple. Once that is done, I will get protos ordered in to double check, then have production units made. The proto boards are hideous so I will have the production units made in the same sexy black solder mask to match our amps. I will send out a mass update email once more progress is made!

Great, can't wait Jeremy! Do you have any intention to supply replacement top covers with a larger hole to accommodate the larger valves?

Is there something about the 6sn7 that makes it so special?
Will it work in the Sunrise II?....or do I have to wait until I get my Ember?
How's the linear power supply coming Jeremy?

The 6sn7 will work in the SR-II.
Jeremy's adapter will work in the Ember, the one off fleabay will not work on Ember.
Jeremy mentioned he would be working on the linear after the adapter. He wants to make some changes to make the power supply even more powerful. the adapter is as good as finished.

Hey guys!
I can supply a replacement top cover but will add to the cost. When I write up the email, I will give that option. Likely it will be about $15 extra so the adapter + new top cover would be about $40
The 6sn7 family has a large following and being large bottle, they look cool! They come in a LOT of versions - internal styles.

Is there any way to incorporate a Senn hd650 headphone filter in the Ember? If not, how would I use one if purchased. Thanks Don

It would be quite a bit to hack it in... We will be working on a simple inline filter that goes in between the source and the amplifier that will house swappable filter modules. That is after I finish up the laundry list of goodies and things already planned

I see that you need a couple of assistants just to keep up with the emails! I will wait for the inline filter, lets see now, 6ns7 adapter, inline filter, new top pieces, linear power supply, I may have to leave retirement so I can keep up! Your products are first class, everyone that has listened to my Ember is impressed with it. I told them none are available till Jeremy gets more projects done, just kidding! Thanks for your efforts, Don
