Hello richard51, do you have a link for the sylvania 1951 6sn7 gt you bought ? plus a question concerning the adapter you need to use them, will the adapter work connected into a Novib socket saver ?

Richard - Not really... Frans and I just have fun making this stuff / making it affordable and glad it is being enjoyed globally. Very unique feeling to know something you helped create is putting a smile on someones face at any given time!
Pics above - from Nicola are stunning - beautiful town! I remember flying over Switzerland and looking down on so many villages that I would love to explore.

its my 4 th day with the sylvania 6sn7...... the change of sound is incredible between the two 6sn7 the first one is sylvania jan chs gtw 6sn7.... this one is 1951 sylvania gt and the change of the sound is more magnificent for me ... the 3 d sounding, the better highs and more definite bass transform completely my speakers ( Swan M10 ) and he 400 earspeakers with the same better quality sound.... No comparison is necessary, its immediately sensible to my ears....all my past tubes are like trash to my ears....including the bugle boy.... I think that frans and jeremy must made a point about the Ember with the 6sn7...tube rolling without the 6sn7 is trashing your money... Buy the adapter with the Ember..its my advise to you all...

Richard51 is on the right track. These 6SN7's are the best my system has ever sounded. The sound is much "fuller" sounding for a better explanation. Very sweet sounding, so far the Sylvania vt 231 and the Tung-Sol Gt from 1950 are sounding the best. I have a couple of Rca grey glass and a few others. Looks like I may be getting a Ken-Rad VT231 6sn7gt black glass / Clear top and a Chrome top / black plate sylvania soon. Really looking forward to them, and I think I better stop the madness (well for a little while)tube rolling. Had my first bad tubes on ebay, a couple of dead rcas, and a Crossly that the glass was loose from the base. Seller credit them back so no loss, but just so you know.

Just bought a pair of Sylvania 6SN7's on ebay. Hope they are OK. Seller has 100% positive feedback with over 1000 transactions. Sorry to hear of the problems, but good to hear they were resolved.

Does anyone know the date codes for these NOS 6SN7's. I have looked around and it seems somewhat difficult. Some having a secret code or something.

Curious about something. I got this cable with my LCD-X headphones - 2.5m 4-pin XLR to dual 4-pin mini-XLR cable.
Would it be possible to put a connector on the Ember that would allow me to use that cable?
