As a bit of a vodka swiller I too have discovered it's cleaning abilities. I buy some good Russian or Polish stuff for me and the cheapest stuff to clean with. If you add lavender and lemon grass to the spray bottle you have decantered to it helps keep flys away in summer months on the patio. At work I'm about to replace the toner and drum in the B&W Brother laser combo. No one can remember the last time this was done, if at all. I also have a cheaper Epson colour ink jet for those times when one must have full colour darlings! As said though, the ink is expensive, just don't use copy brands, they'll clog up your printer sooner or later. This Epson is the longest lasting so far, 2 HPs and a Canon have fallen by the wayside after not too much time. The HP produced the best results out of them but was also the shortest lived, suffering total failure and uneconomical to repair. I also found it the most expensive to run. Well priced vodka brands for drinking, Moskovskaya, Russian Standard and a third the name escapes me bit I always recognise the bottle...."evolution" or similar.

I have had a Canon Pixma 6150 model for a few years. Chose it because it has a grey cartridge as well as the expected CMYKs. I hoped, because of the extra grey cartridge, it would produce good B&W prints, and it does (as well as great colour prints). Complete set of carts is £50 to £60, but not too bothered as the photo quality is good.
However, it's beginning to play up. It's now very temperamental when it comes to feeding in the smaller paper sizes like 6x4 or 7x5. A4 is still fine though.
I may try to take it apart and see if cleaning out any paper dust makes a difference, but I'm starting to look for a replacement.
Anyone have suggestions? Under £100, well under. And good for photo printing?

Inkjets are indeed better for printing photos, but I would never recommend one.
My wife is seriously addicted to photographing our children. We just order the printouts online in bulk.

The worst part is that the carpet has no pattern and is beige!!! So everything shows and if you're like me, once you know a Mark is or has been there, you can't stop looking in case the bugger comes back!! Charming
