Rabbit send me his pair of Superlux HD387, so i start talking about mine Rock Zircon, for comparison. I’m surely not an expert, more accustomed to cheap headphones, especially on the way, and speaker sound, so take it with a grain of salt. The Rock Zircons are a very cheap pair of IEM (around 10€/$), that has a sort of ceramic housing, looking good and solid, and silicon tips. Isolation, sealing and comfort are good. The cable is not as good. It is coated and feels rigid between the jack and the split, than the cable is divided in two without the same coating material and this part suffer a bit of microphonics. Both the splitting part and the T form jack junction seem to me week point, in term of durability. Than the audio. The first thing noticeable is surely how the bass kicking and the subbass is deep, immersive, but too much imho. Even if they are considered v-shaped, i find them enough clearer on the mids, just a bit recessed, but neutral. Highs feels a bit bright and sometime harsh to me, but i’m very sensitive to sibilance and other harder sound. I found the soundstage to be average. So, the sound signature is surely not flat, but unique and engaging for an IEM this cheap. Personally i’d prefer to do some EQ on them, mostly for lower the subbass. AudioBudget graph: Obviously, they are intended to be a contender in the cheap market.

10 euros is exteremely cheap!!! From the graph, it looks like it could benefit from a bit more treble extension, but then again, at that price .....
