link£350 a year.....ouch!!! And no option to pay monthly, which I think will put many off if they weren't already. Apparently they have 70,000 hi-res albums available right now and subscribers gain access to the large majority (how much is large?). Sounds a lot but until you consider that most streaming services offer something like 30-40 million tracks so in reality it's likely only a small % of the albums you might want to stream. Most people baulk at the idea of paying £20p/m for CD quality streaming so think they will really struggle in terms of uptake tbh.

My thoughts exactly. Prices are going the same way as TV packages...
Mind you when you look at cost of hi-res albums some might think it is good value!!! And whilst I don't condone it I can (almost) understand why some don an eyepatch and source their hi-res music through other 'channels'.

Exactly so Mark.
Just encourages people to take the YoHo route to hi res which does nothing to boost the industry. They have no reason to be so greedy about hi res files. They weren't recorded in low res in the first place.
