In few days there's a drop starting for these, and I'm a bit tempted. Searched the forum and saw no references... Any input?

Just spotted the massdrop for AKG M220 Pro phones, price $49.95. With the exception of the cable entrance being plug in on the left cup; they look suspiciously like the Superlux 681's.
There are also Sennheisers 6XX, translated HD 650 with mechanical improvements for $199.95. The only problem is the ship date is listed as Dec. 18, 2017. Good buy if you want to wait that long. You can also get a good deal on Senn. HD 700's for $399.99 as opposed to $749.99 MSRP.

Does a lot of things right and very little wrong. The HD 700's have some issues in the treble area. Honestly, I found them exhausting after about 10 minutes. And if you like bass, I found them to be a little lacking. Depends on what you like. Personally I would not go for the 700's unless you want to get a Kameleon with a filter. The HD 650/6XX with Kameleon is IMHO a better bet for less. Haven't heard the M220's, so I can't help there. Good luck. I hope you find what you looking for.

Heh, Superlux has been (or is?) OEM for AKG... Thus the design is so similar. But I also found out that if I want to, I can get K240 from verkkokauppa.com for a lot less than those M220 would cost - there would be shipping, taxes and customs... and K240 is like 65 euros o.O But I think I'm going to stick with my 662EVO's for now

Didn't hear anything from Superlux but only hear from them when they want a (peer)review of something in development.

Superlux just simply copied an old design (K240) made a few small cosmetic changes and called it a day (original HD681). The K240 don't sound as good as the 662EVO does. Very early K240's sound a bit more 'hifi'. K240's (just like the Superluxes) are intended for monitoring purposes for which they are fine. I wouldn't bother buying the K240. Not very hifi where the 662EVO is. No idea about the M220, looks like a cheap version of the K240 with a different colour scheme and possibly other cost saving trickery inside. Don't think these are made by Superlux though.
