Yep, exactly the same way.
You can try stacking on channel's VU meter on top of the other (vertically), some of them need a big space to look and may reduce the adjacent panes too much if aligned horizontally.

Hmmm ..... when I point to the folder with the .zip file in it, it doesn't show up? Do you know what I'm doing wrong.

Another neat example of the VU Meter plugin:

Hi Javier, Although you posted that FooMote works on Android tablets my BB PlayBook does not want to cooperate. It seems that AndroidPit Apple Centre is needed first and my PlayBook isn't recognising it. Any thoughts? Dave.

Mmmm, I suspect that might have something to do with it . But there does seem to be some commonality between the two I believe? Dave.

I don't think they have anything in common, maybe there is an Android emulator app so you can run Android apps on it but I have no idea.

Hi Javier, I have installed the plugin component and I get the option of one VU meter. But I can't seem to install any others. For example, I downloaded the file 'StageLine VU 800 SW.7z' in the example you posted yesterday. But when I go to install it via preferences, I can't see it in the folder.

Sorry, I should have been more explicit here.
The vu-meters are not plugins themselves, they have to be unzipped and the extraxted .bin files placed in the same folder the plugin is installed. Once you do that they'll show up as available.
The bin files go in (Windows 7 and Vista):
C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\foobar2000\user-components\foo_vis_vumeter\
"Appdata" is a hidden folder so if you can't see it you'll need to change folder settings to show "hidden folders"

All sorted now, Javier. Thank you. I just need to fiddle about with the sizes of the panels. I think need to download a UI to do this as I can't simply drag the panels?

The best way to do that would be creating a scratch box to play with.
First go File->Preferences->Default User Interface and export your current theme. Then close the preferences window and go to View->Layout->Create Scratch box. In the empty window that pops up go to Edit->Import and look for the previously exported theme, then you can start playing around without actually mucking up the real one.
There is no pane dragging in Default UI. Haven't tried Columns UI so can't say but I've read is much more flexible to configure and allows for prettier and more complex interfaces.
