Ron Rothfield is now known as Raja Ram and is an interesting guy. He's from Australia and is getting on now. Must be 68 or so. He worked for a band called Quintessence and is a flute player. A proper flute player though - he studied it. He did retire and made a spectacular comeback in electronic music Shpongle with Simon Posford. He kind of invented the idea of 'trance' music which possibly many don't like. Simon founded 'Twisted Records' and is also into trance music. He also works with 'Younger Brother.' In fact, he formed 'Younger Brother'. The two together formed 'Shpongle' which is an outstanding electronic group. Well, a new album is on the way later this year, 'Museum of Consciousness'. It's one to get imo, when it's released - 29th July. You can hear snippets here:- www.amazon.co.uk/Museum-of-Consciousness/dp/B00D7G38IU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1370694768&sr=8-2&keywords=museum+of+consciousness

Ian,
Our own Mick got me into Younger Brother - I really like them a lot. Listening to 'Vaccine' now in fact.
Strangely enough I think I prefer them to Sphongle.

Christian will love them if based on Shpongle's genre.
