- When you step on your headphone cable and try to stand up
- You start to worry and troubleshoot, only to realize you left your headphones plugged into another amp
- The dog or cat gets tangled in your headphone cable and try to run off... with your amp in tow
What are some of your moments?

- always sitting on them. - forgetting to switch the amp on and continually turning volume up and down. - finding the amp volume knob trodden into the grass in the garden. - accidentally placing an amp upside down and puzzled why the treble control affected the bass. - having 'mute' switched on and inviting a repair guy over. - hearing a bad hum in my headphone and checking everything for ages before I found out it was the washing machine - listening to a Pink Floyd album (The Wall) and thinking how the imaging of an aircraft was amazingly 'out of head'. It was a real plane flying overhead. - Falling asleep with my headphone on, hearing Bjork in the corner of the room woke me up with such a jolt, I fell off. - having a headphone with interchangeable leads. I couldn't be bothered to change it, so I bent over the arm of the settee to plug in in and leant close. Then I did a dive over the arm, headfirst. I must be top heavy. - I forgot I had headphones on and walked off. The hi fi followed me.

- friggin' (reading)glasses breaking seal or 'creaking' when moving the head or hurting the pinnae when using on-ear. - blaming SQ aspects on them while they originate from other things at that moment. - stepping away or moving with a too short lead. - bad contact with some plugs thinking the driver is faulty but the plug contact is the culprit. - entangled cords.

haha those are great! ^
- The headphone cable constantly getting tangled in the wheels of your roll around office chair - You have a spot cleared out for (future equipment) and no one better put anything in that spot! - Everything seems to multiply.. had one amplifier - now 10. Had a pair of headphones, now 15. Had one tube, Now I have 30+ brands, with 30+ of each type from said brand, from 40 countries. AND you're still shopping!
