At least he is new to me ! Marcus Bonfanti has released a new album/CD "Shake the walls" which I would highly recommend. His voice is well suited to his style and the album has a nice variety of tracks from good old rockers to country ballads. Similar, but I reckon, more entertaining than Joe Bonamassa......well worth a listen !

Funny thing Eric, I was listening to Iain Lee on 3 Counties radio this morning. He's outrageous sometimes and I used to listen to him on Absolute before he got into trouble.
He had this guy on this morning playing the Blues on a sitar. It was great.
I've forgotten his band's name but I don't think they've released anything yet. It was something...vibes.
You know, I had Peter Green as a neighbour at my last address and his 'Splinter Group' are great fun too.
I'll give Bonfanti a listen. Thanks!
Aha - found him on Spotify.

I used to keep meeting him in the Supermarket with a funny hat on!!!! (Like a fez) The only thing I find with Peter's albums is that his voice is always very close mic'd and not so well blended with the band. He sounds separate. The band is terrific though.
Oooo er ..... this Bonfanti one is a nice album!! Another one to buy. I'm getting it. His opening number on the album is great - 'Alley Cat'.
What's really nice is that it's not all loud and blary. The sound is really see through. Nice recording.
