Wow - totally freaky.
The 60Hz wave looks like something out of a Sci-Fi/Horror movie

Fun to see, fortunately sound waves and standing waves in cones happen at much higher frequencies because of the way the water (which is relatively heavy and has a different (higher) propagation speed) and the diameters as well as the excitation, the cone shape and thickness differs considerably.
In reality driver cones of dynamic drivers exhibit somewhat similar behaviour but from about 1kHz up. Planar drivers exhibit far better behaviour b.t.w.

I saw this demo with a larger subwoofer playing music with low Hz tones. Really strange shapes. They used a piece of strong plastic wrap to cover the speaker so you can still use the sub after your done having fun. Might have to do this this year as a demo for sound. Here's a clip for The Big Bang Theory, a popular sitcom over here in the U.S. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eA1jSlx9c30Ron
