Wanted a new business / office PC so I built this little guy. Micro in size, only 7.75 X 7.75 X 2.25" or (327mm x 327mm x 57mm)- G1217 custom chassis - AMD energy efficient quad core AM1 5350 cpu - AM1H-ITX Mobo with DC input (uses same type of PS as our amplifiers - no ATX PS!) - 8GB corsair ddr3 / 1600 - Corsair Neutron GTX 240GB SSD Really nothing special performance wise. Just a micro office / basic software and surfing monster. Was a fun build. I have been a custom PC builder since the late 90's and this was the most affordable thing I have even assembled. And it was a blast to build! You can see how small it is compared to my mouse and laptop which us only a 15" ish model. Zoomed out a bit further. My camera failed so excuse the phone photos.

Hi Jeremy, Nice ..... Do you have any plans to offer it as a kit? I for one would be very interested in putting one together as a project and 'new toy'. No perceived need for such a thing but I like the idea and it might help my soldering skills . Dave.

Best looking mini case ever. Nice and cool, perhaps a little noisy, but a passive cooler would spoil the architecture.
Nice work

Hey Guys, thanks for the feedback on it! - Dave, I thought about offering the chassis, psu and buttons as a kit but still thinking on it. I did not want to offer the mobo, cpu and other pre-built for the dread of turning into a support center The only soldering is when you wire the power / reset momentary buttons in so that makes it easy. - Deireleire, with the tiny 50mm fractal designs thin fan, it is silent surprisingly! Even at full tilt in a silent room, you have to lean forward within 12" to tell it is even running. Air coming through the vents from my air conditioner is multitudes louder and most would consider that quiet. Even my laptops at their lowest fan speed are louder.

That is a 1st Class computer Jeremy I have also been building my own computers for 20+ years now and I have often thought about a tiny computer like the one you have built, I especially like the fact it does not have a bulky power supply. The thing you need to do now is make some sort of vesa mount for it so that it can fit on the back of a monitor or TV, perfect for browsing the internet on a big TV - the only downside is you will not see all that lovely hard work that you have put in

Thanks man - It has been great and does all I need it to do. Good to meet another builder! Vesa could be done, just add some holes but I made it small enough to sit on a desktop - that was the goal

Pretty slick Jeremy! I've built many computers,....that is, assembled the parts, but designing that from scratch is very impressive.
