Hi Guys, I'm hoping someone who uses ARTA can answer a couple of questions that remain unanswered despite tons of Google searches, reading the ARTA Setup Manual, and extensive trial and error. Measurement Kit and Chain: PC with Windows 7 and ARTA > Steinberg UR-22 USB Interface with Yamaha ASIO > Line OUT to Dacmini > Headhone on DIY Box dummy head > Dayton EMM-6 mic calibrated by Cross Spectrum Labs > PC > ARTA Calibration File loaded Steinberg Calibrated with DMM and loaded Levels set at 90 dB using calibrated Galaxy CM-140 SPL Meter --- No clipping Dummy Head is 16 cm thickness to approximate average head and standardize clamping pressure I cannot find the settings necessary to adjust the FR and Distortion Graph to 0 dB baseline. Every graph sets the FR at ~ 30 dB baseline. I cannot seem to set the FR and Distortion Graph to 'FR Magnitude dB V/V.' I only see: FR Magnitude dB re 1Pa/V FR Magnitude dB re 20uPa/V FR Magnitude dB re 20uPa/2.83V What 'Impulse and Spectrum Analysis Parameters' are best for generating FR/Distortion and CSD graphs? FFT length Gate 1 and Gate 2 ms Window for frequency response estimation Window for ETC estimation Window for spectrum (Uniform, Half Hann, Kaiser, etc.) I will add 2 more replies to show the rest of my setup. Thanks for the help. BMF

I never got my Arta to give such nice CSD's and have been using REW for that.
Might have to revisit Arta. I do like the THD stuff where you can see the amount of 2n, 3rd and 4th harmonics. I used it for a while though but REW is so much faster for me.
At this moment my spare time is very limited and may continue to be so for a while.

That's a nifty looking CSD, what is it, a T50RP mod?

Frans,
I just came across your experiments comparing various configs: mic flush / flat with wood dummy head, angled, protruded, In Ear, etc. Very nicely done basic research with very interesting results!
Thanks,
Keith
