From what I read at Changstar the problems aren't solved and even some LCD3's have these problems. Of course you never read about the hundreds if not thousands of LCDx's that work flawlessly.
As far as I know all the problems are always neatly solved by the manufacturer.

Are you asking about the old LCD2 rev 2 or the current LCD2 with the Fazor driver?

Are you asking about the old LCD2 rev 2 or the current LCD2 with the Fazor driver? i use the old rev2 not fazor. not even sure how long i have had it , just over a year maybe. sounds awesome to my ears with the help of Frans' filter, of course. i think they have a 2 year warranty, so if they fail after that i will probably go to a filtered hd650 instead, as these seem highly regarded here. fingers are crossed as i know my luck.

They extended the warranty to 3 years (I thought) II even think that Audeze won't even give someone a hard time if a driver failed due to a construction fault.
I think that when the driver was flawed to begin with it would have given problems already so wouldn't worry about it too much The LAudeze's are great headphones (especially when corrected).

Some how I missed this. Yes they extend it to 3 years. But I have heard that they RMA them with the Fazor driver. Seems to have fixed reliability issues so far. Frans, will the filter work with the Fazor driver as well. I'm going to send mine off this week finally and would be interested in a filter for the LCD-2F. Ron

I would have to check plots.
I reckon they do not differ that much.
