I'm looking for a solid 'heavy duty' jack to jack cable. No fancy stuff needed (hello kitty theme would be nice . I've worn out 3 cables in one year to connect my dap to my kameleon. It's just sitting in my bag so the cables move, the kameleon has it's own pocket but the dap doesn't. The failures always come just above the connector, it's like the cables start disconnecting or the cable is bending to much and starts to give microphonics. Are curled cabled perhaps a solution? Suggestions?

3.5 mm stereo jacks are always prone to break when they are bent near the plug. Perhaps look for something with a thicker outer sleeve so it can't bend as bad. Don't know if something like THIS or THIS lasts longer though. Or you can make your own angled cable with plugs like THIS but yanking on those cables may still break the cable. There are also finished products with these plugs: professionalaudiocables.co.uk/3-5BTRS-CAPB-3-5BTRS-25-cm

Went for a 90° angled connector on one side, straight one on the other. Took a flat cable didn't try that yet. If this doesn't last long i'll switch to a custom made cable with a ticker outer sleeve, perhaps with a metal spring and very long connector cable supports
