I found this link in another place. Not bad deals as far as I can tell. Be sure to enter this code - VALUED35 - at the checkout for a further 35% discount. I haven't bought from here myself so buyer beware & all that.. Sennheiser OutletGordon.

If so, it's directly from Sennheiser. It's when I bought the HD800's.

Now I should say I haven't tried this service myself but a way to get a new pair cheaper (< £200) would be to use Barclay's Bespoke Offers(don't need to be a Barclays customer to use it) in conjunction with either Quidco or Topcashback. www.bespokeoffers.co.uk/www.topcashback.co.uk/barclaycard-bespoke-offers/www.quidco.com/bespoke-offers/?st=bespoke%20offers&tr=10838&fn=index&fr=topYou need to register with Bespoke, then do a 'beat my price'request(enter the Amazon url), wait a few hours and then accept the 'beat my price' and complete checkout - assuming you are happy with the price they offer. At each step go through the cashback site to get to the Bespoke site (Topcashback offers slightly better rates) as that will earn you cashback. Roughly 40-50pfor registering with Bespoke, 40-50p for requesting a 'beat my price' and then approx. 14-15% of the purchase price (excl delivery charge but including VAT) if you go ahead and buy. I got them to quote me a price on the HD650 a month or so ago and they came back with an offer of approx. £228. Factor in cashback and that would have worked out around £193. Few things to note: - I believe the service is operated by Flubit (aka Fireworks Merchants Ltd) on Barclays behalf - no idea who they source the items from or what their after sales service is like if there is an issue - delivery is likely to take a bit longer than with Amazon - any cashback will probably take a few months before it becomes payable It's a bit convoluted esp. if you don't currently use one of the cashback sites but sub £200 for a new HD650 is pretty good. Suspect it's not a business model that'll be sustainable in the long term though.

For another £9,Amazon offer them Simon and they're fine. £9 extra. Amazon's delivery service, Amazon's customer service, Amazon's return service. No-brainer!!

That's how I feel, Jeff. If ever there are problems, Amazon are really good at getting it sorted.
I had a box set DVD collection go missing. Phones Amazon and they immediately sent a new one. It came the next day and blow me, the original turned up so I did the honest thing and returned one unopened.
Sometimes, if you search Amazon Spain or Germany, you'll get things cheaper if you convert the Euro price. I'll have a look......

Nope. No cheap ones available at the moment. UK Amazon is the cheapest. I have an older black membrane one with a short cable if you want a cheaper one, Simon. Could always get a cable for it, but you may prefer a newer silver membrane one. I may have the original cable but no idea where it is. I could have a look though. I can hold it for as long as you like. (10 paydays if you like!!! ) I know the feeling ..... My new bathroom did me in!! I must admit, I do like the K712. It is a toned down AKG with nice bass and treble that really doesn't screech but has more 'edge' than the HD650 in the treble. (Without a filter) it's more expensive but IMO, a nice headphone. More open sounding with a warm tone. Tonally, it's pretty good and detail retrieval is also very good. It's one headphone that renders orchestral with a good string tone and works well with properly recorded pop/rock. Bad pop/rock sounds thin though and the Senns kind of make it sound better. The AKG doesn't. Less bass hump but does go low as well, without a filter. Needs an amp though in spite of low impedance.
