Bags and containers for digital players a,re rarely discussed anywhere so I thought I'd post about the one that I use out in the garden since it is extremely good. I have three Fiios inside, each in individual compartments with a Fiio amp inside. (Mont Blanc) i also have a big card holder in there. Here is the beauty of this bag. Each compartment comes off if you want to use a DAP individually or just leave it in the bag with the others. The second brilliant part of this bag is that each compartment has a small hole that is reinforced in order to allow you to shove cables through to the centre of the bag, where my amo is. So three DAPs have leads going to the centre, which I just plug into the amp ready for the headphone that comes out of the top. It all zips up tight so no problem with rain, although I run for it in the garden when it starts!! This bag is designed for players to be connected to an amp with no wires showing and you then just wear it. Great bag and is currently going at a good price .... www.proporta.co.uk/proporta-gadget-bag-live

That's a cool bag Ian. If I had enough kit for it I'd spring for that one. I do like bags I use this case for my HD 650's.. Slappa Large Hardbody ProIt's really tough, pretty much bulletproof. I remove my cables for transportation but it's not really necessary. It's a bit pricey though for what it is & I'm pretty sure it was cheaper when I bought it. Still, compared to the cost of replacing headphones it's worth it I think.

I have a Slappa as well Gordon. Terrific case for hd650 and very substantial. Great for putting into a suitcase if you're flying and worried about clumsy baggage handlers.

Do you remember the "shark proof" cases (aka. "Explorer" cases), Ian? I've started a thread about them years ago on RG. I have the pics still on my photobucket account. I still use those cases and not only for headphones. I've seen that Thomann audio sells them also. Thomann also has a few similar brands in its range of products (i.e. "Peli" cases etc.).

They really are substantial. I had a look on Thomann and they're also quite a pricw!! Some of those aluminium photographers' boxes look useful.
