Hi Just realised my old Cyrus 1 is on it's last legs. Any ideas on a suitable replacement, nothing too expensive mind? Cheers Brian

When you have always been really satisfied with it perhaps a revision is the most logical step.
Only the 2 switches and perhaps the volume control needs to to be replaced. The switches can be taken apart and cleaned.
Perhaps the input RCA's need some cleaning as well...

It can't be much. One of the channels cuts out now and again at lower levels. Works fine higher up, then I can turn it down again....

Looks like a switch... When the signal cuts out try rotating the switches/volpot somewhat to see if that helps. If it does it is a mechanical issue.
Also check solderjoints on the bottom of the PCB if the topside appears to have seen some 'heat' (darker areas on the PCB near components that get hot)
