I do, Jeff. For me, they have a 'similarity' to the K701 without the nasty jangle that you can get up there in the very high treble. They're a bit smoother although, still not bass monsters but the clarity is terrific. For some reason, I really liked them a lot with the Zigis amp!!! They seem to jump to life. In fact, I've been going through my headphones, trying to decide what I am going to keep and what is going to go. The K601 for me, is a real keeper. Even the HD650, I just keep as a reference, not really as a listening headphone. I prefer the T40 that Frans Modded for me. I have some borderline cases - the DT990, for instance. The ones I like: Superlux HD681 rev K601 T40/T50 PCX 450 in non-active (No noise cancel) mode I'm ok with HD600, HD650, Beyer DT990, HD250, Beyer DT150 Mobile, I like Senn ie8 (I really like for portable) Klipsch X10 HD25 KSC75 and Portapro Creative Aurvana Live I have a myriad of other things that need to go really. I guess I'm lucky in that I have been able to get loads of the damned things and try them and for me, it's been an education in appreciation of what some headphones do really well. My most recent surprise has been the Superlux. I really like that one in spite of the raised bass level. At the price they sell at, they are a great bargain. (Although I wish they hadn't used that shiny plastic) Anyway, £90 for a K601 is a really good buy - there aren't many headphones around that price that are as good!!
