It looks very nice (I like the VU meters quite a bit). It is rather strange that it can play DSD128 but it is limited to 24/96 in PCM, wonder what could be the reason for that.

No, I'm not getting one Mark. I have the X5 which isn't too shabby. It looks very nice though. It's the memory capability and dsd that caught my eye. You'd need a bigg memory for lots of dsd files and that looks great.
Javier, I wonder whether it plays dsd by converting the output to pcm, but lower res? That's it's Achilles heel!!!

That is exaclty what I think, in order to make all the DAP's functions (EQ, VU meter, etc.) they need to convert everything to PCM because it'll take much more than a small DSP IC to process all that for native DSD.

Yes, the Fiios do the same actually. That's partially what my problem was with the 128gb cards. The conversion process slowed the player down and the card was worse so everything got 'confused' and so produced random stuttering.
The player looks nice though and two tb is a lot of storage for better quality files. It has digital out as well for the IDSD.
Makes 256gb on my X5 look tiny!!!
