OK - that Behringer audio interface. I continue to be pleased with it. Still using it as a USB DAC/amp and it's stunning. There is some volume control imbalance at low listening levels which isn't surprising as it's definitely budget kit. However, that can be overcome by using the mixer control to lower the level of the USB input. Also a simple headphone attenuator would be just as good, if not better. The bass, as said before, is rich and solid. Really musical. It's detailed without at all being hard. It makes my Cambridge DacMagic XS sound lifeless and reccessed. And the DacMagic's a nice piece of kit. Same here... Haven't tested it for testing duties. Only services as an USB DAC which works great from both Win XP (I know... I know) and Ubuntu Studio (Linux). Thinking of buying the 202 as well for DAC duty in the livingroom to replace the very old Soundblaster HD device. The device feels quite heavy and classy and looks quite 'professional' as well. I think this is a better deal than many 'USB audio DACs' out there that have a more 'hifi-looks'.

I have yet to get around to trying out its mic preamps and ADC abilities. I get the feeling that the mic pre-amps may not be too shabby.

Hi Derek, I purchased the 202 for voice-over work preamps are very good, low low noise, recording with my AT2020 USB mic into PC Asus Xonar DS Sound Card it produces a nice realistic sound with no noise, (well I can't hear any). Have passed it on to two of my readers they are now recording with it and a Behringer B5 mic using Audacity on a Lenovo PC, Dugald has a great sounding voice which is faithfully reproduced his wife Val can't believe what a good tone her violin has, would I recommend the 202...............YES.
