Lucy has a history project to do, so we all went to Bodiam Castle yesterday to make a film. Tricky when there are lots of visitors but we were lucky and the weather behaved for us.
The castle is well preserved and has been used quite a lot for filming in because of that.

Cool, the Monty Python castle. Liked the bloops and blunders too. Nothing like some "Holy Grain" to make your morning porridge. Tell Lucy well done for me.

Come in Judith Chalmers. Your time is up!
A big well done to Lucy from me too (& an honourable mention to Dad who note doubt spent a good few hours editing etc).

Loved the virtual tour! Lucy did a great job, as did you, Ian. Thanks for sharing.

Cool, the Monty Python castle. Liked the bloops and blunders too. Nothing like some "Holy Grain" to make your morning porridge. Tell Lucy well done for me. Thanks guys. It was quite nice to be out again, free of the Panto I've been filming for the past month. Some of the bloopers were really rude thanks to me!! In the first blooper, I started a count down and then let out a bad word because I didn't think I'd started the camera!!! 'One, Two ...... ' Cut!!! I had to lose those where we'd taken god knows how many takes and Lucy forgot things like where she was, her name, what she was going to say ..... and getting distracted every five minutes by something (like those ducks and fish) while we were trying to avoid noisy, screaming kids!!! Would you believe that one guy kept purposely walking into shot because he saw my gear so in the end, I had to say something. (unfortunately the second word was 'off') Then Lucy got the giggles because I was getting John Cleese irate. We managed to escape by lunchtime, when the crowds were starting to really build up. Funnily enough Mark, the editing was pretty quick since I used Lucy's links to put it together and then planted shots in between just to fit the music. If those kinds of films have narration, it gives markers which is pretty easy to edit. In all, I took nearly 200 shots so I had plenty to choose from as far as views were concerned.
