I live in northern Italy. It seems every country is underestimating the risk. And UK maybe even more than others. This damned thing is real, sneaky and spreads easily and fast. Isolation and quarantine are the first weapons we have. Stay at home.

This was two days before shutdown actually. London was very empty compared to what it is normally.
I had a heart scan in a specialist hospital and they only let small numbers of people in. I phoned the day before to check that they were working.
On the tube, people didn’t sit close.
I think London has the highest incidence in the UK though. Not surprising given how many people live there.
We’re being told that the peak might be in two or three weeks.
UK is virtually closed down now.

Not great, Simon. Have a painful chest and not sure if it’s because of my heart or a side effect of drugs. Like I have a chest infection.
Had two atrial fibrillation episodes that were really strong and my pulse is still very uneven. The scan was to see what might be causing it, but the effect of your heart not pumping properly is very tiring and can cause breathing problems which is what I’m concerned about.
I’m in a very small village too. Not even a shop here. Just a pub and church. So can’t easily get food. We’re into the freezers now.
Also, Helena has no work being self employed so we’re going to be hard up I think.

really sorry you are struggling mate. there is never a good time to be ill but , with all the anxiety around at the moment, you probably picked the worse time.
have you tried ruling out possible "triggers" from your diet, like caffeine, alcohol, chocolate (especially dark) and spicy food? this is what i had to do at the start of my arrhythmia issues. stress and viruses also are known triggers, but not so easy to control. also exercising too much can do it.
i assume the doctors have given you things to try to stop an episode when it starts? i was advised on the following....... "bearing down" as you do when on the toilet (believe it or not) submerging face in really cold water. i was also given a large syringe to blow into. sometimes these methods work and sometimes not. hope they get you sorted soon mate.

Exercise definitely triggers it, although the big one I had was out of the blue.
Saw the doctor because I have a tight chest, like a chest infection with no other symptoms. He just told me to relax and take deep breaths. Blood pressure was at 200 when he took it.
At home though, I get lower results, generally around 135.
I stopped tea, coffee and chocolate. No change.
Maybe stress, because it is stressing me out a bit.
I was making a video for Helena’s Sing Rainbow business this week and suddenly had a bad dizzy spell. Felt like I was passing out and had to lie on the floor before I fell.
Will see the heart specialist in 5 months but after the doctor visit, he wrote to ask if they could bring it forward.
The waiting is terrible because I can’t do anything that exerts me in any way now for fear of another attack.

Did the doctor rule out gastroesophageal reflux? It's not uncommon that it's perceived as an heart related issue.

They never mentioned that.
The cardiogram showed a t wave, and very irregular beat plus the AF happening after I was monitored in hospital.
