This forum is about personal audio, DIY and how to do it in an economic sensible way.
It is supposed to be a fun hobby and we appear on here to help people out with questions about music, digital stuff and analog stuff and learn from each other.
We do this for a HOBBY and NOT for profit and really like the friendly atmosphere it has.
Even though there is a 'other than audio section' in this forum we would like to keep it clear from: racial remarks, politics, religion (except audio religions) and other highly divisive/opinionated 'off'topics.
Audio divisive topics are allowed as long as it remains respectful and friendly.
Everyone is free to join, debate , ask questions, have some fun and do off-topic things in the appropriate areas.
Each person feels different about how they think/feel/believe audio works, it is their right to think/feel/believe this way and should be respected.
Everyone should be, and IS free, to post whatever they think/feel is their truth and will not be 'silenced' nor 'censored' as long as it is their personal opinion and is not posted to troll on purpose.
If members on this forum do not agree with what is being said on here, they are free to call us on that and/or debate issues.
There is only ONE condition and that is that debates should be held in a CIVILISED manner without accusations, harsh words, allegations, ridiculing and accompanied with some sound reasoning or by presenting technical evidence.
Personal attacks or harsh words are simply not allowed and will be edited and or moved (not deleted).
NO posts have EVER been removed/moved because of content 'we' (the admins) did NOT agree with.
To avoid the shout box to become extremely long and and not up to date it is emptied from time to time, this is not censoring but managing the size of the shoutbox.
The only posts that have ever been removed (deleted) are those from individuals that were clearly out to disrupt this new forum as soon as it got online.
Threads that are becoming very long (over 10 pages) will be 'cleaned/managed' from time to time (chit-chatty posts will be moved not deleted) in order to keep the length of a thread minimal, yet with maximum relevant info.
Also we DON'T do mass e-mails, nor use, publish, share or sell e-mail addresses.
Please refrain from posting inflammatory subjects or political subjects that may cause others to take offence. It is not a good idea to talk politics on a world wide forum where people live within so many varying political views and areas with different viewpoints.
Advertisements or 'spam alike links' are not allowed, but all sellers are free to respond to questions asked about their product(s).
Links to products that are relevant to a discussion in that thread is also allowed.
There are advertisements shown on this site by ProBoards (our host). The adds are not selected by us nor deliberately put up there in order to generate cash. They are there because the forum we use is a free account and the adds are simply an obligated downside we have to live with.
