We're laking convenience here, not hi fi!! The fact that it uses bluetooth is going to limit the bandwidth so it makes some situations really convenient.
For instance, sometimes, in the mornings, I will get up and stick a tablet on in the bedroom and get it to play the radio. I leave it up there so transmission distance is maximised and I can walk around with my headphone only.
The other thing you can do is leave it indoors(near say a patio door) and to an extend, wander outside.
You can leave it in a bag, hidden away and listen if you're brave enough to wear them outside!!
I find the convenience of bluetooth headphones to be brilliant as well as my lovely little 'Jamjar' speaker that follows me to the bathroom sometimes!! That way, the Ipod stays out of steam.
The headphone I'm using is a Sony BT101 which isn't brilliant in the bass region but great for radio and seems to be quite sensitive at longer distances. I have had a few others that don't have a decent range. The BT101 isn't built like a tank or anything and so I am aware it won't stand my 'sit' test.
Does anyone use any other Bluetooth headphone that actually sounds decent? ie: improves on the lack of bass I get fro the BT101 without going boomy? I did use a Panasonic one at one time. (Closed too) It was built way better but the bass was just domineering. (Thinking about it, it was a wi fi one rather than bluetooth.) I didn't like using a plug in transmitter.
Any good bluetooths? (Not the Senn 360 - too bassy)
