I measured and evaluated the K181 headphone hereIt is a fold-able on-ear headphone that while targeted at the lower budget DJ market sounds surprisingly good as a hifi-phone. Most DJ headphones have rolled off treble or accentuated bass. In the 'small club' setting it actually measures and sounds quite decent.

Mids look nice. AKG seem to focus their headphones in the mids generally. Is that treble peak at 12 - 13 kHz a bit of ringing or there to make cymbals splash on purpose, Frans?

This is one of those (very few) AKG's that doesn't have a typical AKG sound (nor looks) No splashy cymbals in this one but not a refined headphone either. Very tonally balanced and convincing headphone without the usual accentuated treble and (fake) detail.
